Why this combo works
Eye has one of the clearest chestplate symbols. Emerald makes that center mark feel like an Eye of Ender, while netherite keeps the surrounding armor shadowed.
Use it around strongholds, End portal rooms, emerald trading halls, or skins that already use green eyes or ender details.
How to build Eye of Ender
The full Eye of Ender set needs one trimmed helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots. In survival, each smithing operation consumes one Eye template and one emerald trim material.
- 4 armor piecesNetherite helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots.
- 4 Eye templatesFind one at stronghold altar chests, then duplicate it for the full set.
- 4 Emerald materialsUse minecraft:emerald once per armor piece.
- If starting from 1 templateDuplicate 3 times: 21 diamonds + 3 End Stone.
- Find the Eye smithing template from stronghold altar chests.
- Duplicate the template until you have 4 copies for the complete armor set.
- At a smithing table, combine each netherite armor piece with the Eye template and
minecraft:emerald. - Repeat for helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots to complete the full Eye of Ender set.
Eye template duplication recipe
Duplicate Eye smithing template
Crafting table recipe: 7 diamonds + 1 Eye template + 1 End Stone gives 2 Eye templates. Starting from one found template, repeat this 3 times to prepare a full 4-piece armor set.
Smithing table recipe for each piece
Netherite armor + Eye template + Emerald
Use the same recipe pattern for every armor slot. Each row below consumes one armor piece, one template, and one emerald material.
Java /give command
Use these commands in Java 1.21+ to spawn the full Eye of Ender set directly.
/give @s minecraft:netherite_helmet[trim={pattern:"eye",material:"emerald"}] 1
/give @s minecraft:netherite_chestplate[trim={pattern:"eye",material:"emerald"}] 1
/give @s minecraft:netherite_leggings[trim={pattern:"eye",material:"emerald"}] 1
/give @s minecraft:netherite_boots[trim={pattern:"eye",material:"emerald"}] 1
Bedrock notes
Bedrock Edition still expects you to apply trims at a smithing table. Give yourself the netherite armor pieces, then combine each piece with the Eye template and emerald material.
Style notes and variants
Best for: Stronghold explorer, End portal keeper, emerald-eyed netherite.
- Eye + Lapis on Diamond for a blue portal-room set
